Watch Wildfire Preparedness With Ramona Officials

Meetings with a smaller focus will be held in the near future, according to the San Vicente Resort.

Missed out on the July 16 wildfire preparedness community meeting in the San Diego Country Estates? You can watch the whole thing online.

Lezley Knott filmed the meeting, which featured the following panel:

  • Ramona Sheriff’s Substation: Lt. James Bovet
  • Cal Fire: Battalion Chief Randy Scales, Fire Marshal/Chief Saul Villagomez (representing RMWD)
  • Ramona District Chief: Battalion Chief Burke Kremensky
  • California Highway Patrol: Sergeant Amado Macias
  • County Office of Emergency Services: Stasia Place Richardson
  • County Department of Animal Services: Lt. Laura Ward
  • Humane Society: Lt. Melyssa Jones
  • Ramona CERT
The meeting gave Ramonans a chance to meet, hear and question local fire, law enforcement and animal service professionals. Resources are available in the video that can help you make informed decisions in case of an emergency.

According to San Vicente Resort, more meetings like the one above will be held in the future, but with focused topics.
