Video of Suspected Armed Robber in Ramona Released
The surveillance video from Los Rancheros taco shop depicts a suspect in five armed robberies.
The Sheriff’s Department has released a surveillance video from an armed robbery in September with images of a man suspected in a string of Ramona robberies.
The video was shot at taco shop, 1847 Main St., , according to sheriff’s spokeswoman Melissa Aquino. An armed man suspected in five area robberies is seen pointing a pistol through a carryout window. The same suspect and an unarmed accomplice also just after 1:20 a.m. Aug. 12, according to Detective Tom Seiver.
Seiver described the armed suspect as a thin Latino man with a light complexion, around 5 feet 6 inches tall, and probably in his early 20s. He was armed with a semi-automatic handgun and got away with money in all of the robberies.

On Nov. 29, the suspect and an unarmed male Latino accomplice robbed the , 444 D St., at 6:04 p.m., according to Seiver.
