No Injuries in Three-Car Accident at San Vicente Road and 11th Street

Three cars were involved in a crash Wednesday, with one of them rolling over another.

Three cars were involved in a crash Wednesday at San Vicente Road and 11th Street, though no one was seriously injured, CHP Officer Joe Nielsen said.

According to Nielsen, a white van traveling eastbound on 11th Street failed to completely stop at the light and clipped the right rear of a blue Nissan Xterra that was traveling southbound on San Vicente Road. The SUV then flipped over and landed on top of a white Ford Focus.

The accident, which occured at 1:47 p.m. Wednesday afternoon, didn't cause any major injuries to the three drivers involved.

"It could've been a lot worse," Nielsen said. "It looked really bad, but thankfully, because everyone was wearing seatbelts, it saved them from much worse injuries."

San Vicente Road was closed between 10th and 12th streets, but the involved cars and debris were cleaned up within an hour and the road was reopened.
