Single-Car Rollover on Highway 78 Sends One To Hospital

A female had to be extricated, Intermountain Fire and Rescue said.

A female was taken to a local hospital in stable condition Saturday after being extricated from a vehicle on Highway 78, Intermountain Fire and Rescue said.

Intermountain Chief Kevin Long said the single-car rollover involved two occupants and occurred around 11:40 a.m.

California Highway Patrol, the Sheriff's Department and four engines responded to the scene, just west of Santa Ysabel, Long said.

According to Long, the other occupant of the vehicle was not injured.

No other information, like the cause of the rollover, was immediately available.
