Red Flag Warning Remains in Effect Through Friday Night

High winds and dry weather have elevated the wildfire danger.

A Red Flag Warning remains in effect today as the winds pick up and the humidity stays low.

The inland valley and mountains' red flag warning is expected to last through 6 p.m. Friday, the National Weather Service said.

Northeast winds of 15 to 25 mph with gusts of up to 55 mph, relative humidity below 10 percent and temperatures in the 90s are expected to create an elevated wildfire danger, the agency said.
