Ramona Drug Enforcement: 90 Arrests in 5 Months

Sheriff's Lt. James Bovet gave the Citizens Advisory Group an update on drug-related achievements the department has made since Dec. 1, 2012.

In a Citizens Advisory Group (CAG) meeting last Thursday at the Ramona Library, Sheriff's Lt. James Bovet updated residents on the various efforts the Sheriff's Department has made in town regarding drug enforcement.

Bovet, who has an extensive background in drug enforcement, gave the CAG a run-down of the drug-related achievements since Dec. 1 of last year.

The big arrests have made the news, such as the chicken ranch arrests in February, the undercover high school arrests last month and the flash bang arrests this month.
