Man Reports Stolen Wallet at Manana's; Evaluated for Neck Injuries

Authorities found a man matching the description of the suspect and arrested him.

A suspect was arrested Monday night after a man reported a stolen wallet at Manana's Mexican Food, the San Diego County Sheriff's Department said.

A language barrier made the report difficult, the department said, but the victim was able to provide a description of the suspect who allegedly stole his wallet.

Authorities found a man matching the description of the suspect and arrested him. Charges were not immediately available.

The incident took place at 6:39 p.m. at the 1100 block of Main Street, according to the Sheriff's Department, and Ramona Fire Station 80 responded to the site to evaluate the victim, who said he had neck injuries.

The Sheriff's Department said the victim reported being hit in the neck, but Fire Station 80 said there were no injuries and the man was not transported.
