Partial List of Ramona Residents Arrested in Operation Mountain Shadow

The major drug operation by multiple law enforcement agencies made 65 arrests in Ramona and Poway on Tuesday.

The identities and charges of some Ramona residents arrested in the major drug sting "Operation Mountain Shadow" were released Wednesday. The operation, which involved multiple law enforcement agencies, including the Ramona Sheriff's station and Drug Enforcement Administration, culminated with 65 arrests Tuesday morning and the seizure of drugs valued at $2.1 million in Poway and Ramona.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office of Southern District of California announced the names of these Ramonans arrested in the operation; other names have yet to be released:

• Juan Aguirre, suspected of distribution of methamphetamine and conspiracy, unlawful possession of firearm, discharge of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking offense.

• Paulino Aguirre, suspected of distribution of methamphetamine and conspiracy.

• Oscar Rodriguez-Torres, suspected of distribution of methamphetamine, conspiracy,  unlawful possession of firearm.
