Investigation in Death of Ramona Boy

Sheriff's detectives were dispatched to a home on Olive Avenue early Tuesday.

Sheriff's detectives Tuesday investigated the death of a 6-year-old boy in Ramona.

Investigators were called out at about 1:15 a.m. to a residence in the 1000
block of Olive Avenue, according to sheriff's Lt. David Gilmore.

Paramedics tried unsuccessfully to revive the boy. It was reported that he may have been chronically ill and had special needs.
