Horse Trailer T-Boned by Truck on Route 67

One driver was injured.

Traffic out of Ramona was slowed Wednesday evening after an accident on Route 67 in which a truck pulling a horse trailer was t-boned by another pickup truck, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The driver with the horse trailer, which had just been serviced in town, turned left onto Wynola Street onto State Route 67, and was hit by an oncoming vehicle. The driver that was hit, a 53-year-old San Diego resident, was taken to Pomerado Hospital with cuts to the head, according to the CHP.

The driver and passenger of the other truck, both Ramona residents, weren't injured and the horses remained in the trailer during the accident.

CHP said no DUI is suspected.
