Food Truck Hits Power Pole on SR 78, CHP Reports
No injuries were reported, but the power pole was reportedly damaged.
A San Diego Sheriff's Deputy driving on state Route 78 came upon a single-vehicle traffic collision involving a food truck, California Highway Patrol reported.
The sheriff's vehicle found the truck around 6:10 p.m. near 3138 SR 78, close to Pine Hills Road in Julian, according to CHP.
Authorities said the food truck hit an SDG&E wooden power pole, shredding it part of it.
CHP reported no injuries in the single-vehicle accident and said SDG&E was called out to the scene to take care of the shredded pole.
