Fire Burns One Acre in Ramona

No structures were damaged from the Friday-afternoon fire.

A fire that burned one acre on H Street in Ramona Friday afternoon was put out by fire crews within 30 minutes, according to a Cal Fire spokesman. No structures were damaged and the cause of the fire is under investigation.

The fire broke out around 1:15 p.m., said Capt. Mike Mohler. Residents reported that air crews responded and contained the blaze quickly.
