Crime Log: Vandalism at Ramona Lutheran; Petty Theft at Mt. Woodson Golf Course

The following incidents were reported from Aug. 6-12 at the Ramona Sheriff's Department substation

Aug. 6: A citation was given at the 3000 block of state Route 67. A 37-year-old man was cited for driving without a valid driver's license.

Aug. 6: Vandalism was reported at the 500 block of 16th Street. Ramona Lutheran Church reported damaged or destroyed windows, plants and other commercial structure vandalism.

Aug. 6: Fraud was reported at the 24500 block of Rutherford Road. Credit card fraud was reported.

Aug. 7: An arrest was made at the 17700 block of state Route 67. A 53-year-old man was arrested on probable cause of using a controlled substance and a felony bench warrant.

Aug. 7: A citation was given at the 3300 block of state Route 67. A 54-year-old man was cited on probable cause of battery on a person.

Aug. 8: Residential burglary was reported at the 100 block of 7th Street. A computer, cell phone, portable music player and camera, valued at a total of $840, were reported stolen from a home.

Aug. 8: An arrest was made at the 1700 block of San Vicente Road. A 49-year-old woman was arrested on probable cause of likely causing harm or death of an elder/dependent adult.

Aug. 8: Spousal abuse was reported at the 24700 block of Pappas Road. A victim was reportedly unconscious.

Aug. 8: Fraud was reported at the 23600 block of Isla Del Rey. Credit card fraud was reported.

Aug. 8: Petty theft was reported at the 16600 block of Scrub Oaks Lane. Miscellaneous property was stolen from a vehicle.

Aug. 8: An arrest was made at the 600 block of B Street. A 27-year-old man was arrested on probable cause of possessing a controlled substance, using a controlled substance and possessing unlawful paraphernalia.

Aug. 9: Vandalism was reported at the 1900 block of Kelly Avenue. A silver pickup truck was reportedly damaged. 

Aug. 9: Petty theft was reported at the 16400 block of North Woodson Drive. Mt. Woodson Gold Course reported $600 worth of miscellaneous items stolen. 

Aug. 9: An arrest was made at the 19300 block of Laurel Lane. A 40-year-old an was arrested on probable cause of possessing marijuana for sale, planting marijuana, possessing a controlled substance, possessing concentrated cannabis, using a controlled substance, possessing unlawful paraphernalia, vandalism, theft of utility services and committing a narcotic crime with prior convictions.

Aug. 11: An arrest was made at the 100 block of North 14th Street. A 21-year-old woman was arrested on probable cause of possessing a controlled substance, using a controlled substance, possessing unlawful paraphernalia and possessing up to an ounce of marijuana.

Aug. 11: An arrest was made at the 900 block of Main Street. A 21-year-old man was arrested on probable cause of possessing unlawful paraphernalia.

Aug. 11: An arrest was made at the 24200 block of Del Amo Road. A 43-year-old man was arrested on probable cause of spousal abuse with minor injury.

Aug. 12: Property was found at the 23800 block of Vista Ramona Road. Two power tools were found.

Aug. 12: Vehicle burglary was reported at the 15200 block of Moonglow Drive. A computer, miscellaneous tools, a power tool and camera, valued at a total of $3,500, were reported stolen.
