Crime Log: Teen Arrested at Montecito High on Weapons Possession Charge

Sept. 3: Petty theft reported at 2200 block of San Vicente Road. Construction equipment and power tools totaling $450 was reported stolen.

Sept. 4: An armed and suspicious person was reported at the 700 block of 9th Street. An 18-year-old male was arrested on suspicion of possession of a weapon at Montecito High School.

Sept. 4: Grand theft was reported at the 1800 block of Main Street. A wallet, IDs, miscellaneous jewelry and checks were reported stolen from a building.

Sept. 4: Burglary was reported at the 1400 block of Hanson Lane. Three bicycles, totaling more than $5,000 were stolen from Ramona High School.

Sept. 4: Spousal abuse was reported at the 700 block of Olive Street.

Sept. 4: Petty theft was reported at 3300 block of Dye Road. A $400 cell phone was stolen.

Sept. 4: Runaway juvenile was reported at 2500 block of Mitten Lane.

Sept. 4: Arrest for controlled substances at 1100 block of Main Street. A 28-year-old male was arrested for being under the influence of controlled substances.

Sept. 5: Missing person reported at 800 block of 3rd Street. A 54-year-old female was reported missing.

Sept. 5: Found narcotics at 600 block of South 10th Street.

Sept. 6: Found narcotics at the 100 block of North 14th Street.

Sept. 6: Spousal abuse reported at 25100 block of Hereford Drive. A 34-year-old male was arrested for spousal abuse.

Sept. 7: Shoplifting reported at the 1300 block of Main Street. Sunglasses were stolen from Daniel's Market.

Sept. 7: Residential burglary was reported at 23600 block of Barrego Way. Seven bikes and other miscellaneous items totaling $5,750 were stolen from a home.

Sept. 7: Burglary of a vehicle reported at 100 block of 7th Street. Money and other miscellaneous items totaling $210 were stolen from a car.

Sept. 7: Grand theft/burlgary of a vehicle reported at 15700 block of Snuz Mountain Road. Power tools and hand tools totaling $4,900 were stolen from a vehicle.

Sept. 8: Spousal abuse reported at 400 block of 14th Street.

Sept. 8: Grand theft at 700 block of Creelman Lane. $1,500 was stolen from a building.

Sept. 8: Grand theft reported at 20800 block of Burma Road North. Copper materials were stolen.

Sept. 8: Arrest for drunk in public at 17500 block of State Route 67. A 41-year-old female was arrested for being drunk in public.

Sept. 8: Vandalism reported at 400 block of 14th Street. A pickup truck had $3,000 worth of damage done to it.

Sept. 9: Petty theft reported at 23800 block of San Vicente Road. Miscellaneous items worth $900 were stolen from a vehicle.

Sept. 10: Stolen vehicle reported at 400 block of D Street. A vehicle containing miscellaneous items, books and automotive parts was stolen.

Sept. 10: Suicide attempt reported at 200 block of Earlham Street.
