Crime Log: $10K Ring Stolen, $300K Extortion and 4 Minors Arrested at Ramona High for Marijuana

The following incidents from March 5-11 were listed at the Sheriff's Department Ramona substation.

March 5: An arrest was made on D Street. A 25-year-old female was arrested on probable cause of using or being under the influence of a controlled substance.

March 5: Grand theft was reported at the 17100 block of Highland Meadow Court. A ring worth $10,300 was reported stolen.

March 5: An arrest was made at the 500 block of F Street. A 58-year-old male was arrested for probable cause of a felony bench warrant.

March 5: A gang/terrorist threat was reported at 1500 block of Hanson Lane.

March 6: An arrest was made on Main Street. A juvenile was arrested on probable cause of possessing concentrated cannabis and DUI.

March 6: Stolen vehicle was reported at the 600 block of I Street. A $200 silver automobile was reported stolen.

March 7: Vehicle burglary was reported at the 800 block of 8th Street. Two arrests were made:

-An 18-year-old male was arrested on probable cause of burglary of a vehicle, possessing unlawful paraphernalia and using a controlled substance.

-A 21-year-old female was arrested on probable cause of burglary of a vehicle and using a controlled substance.

March 7: An arrest was made on 600 block of B Street. A 28-year-old male was arrested on probable cause of a felony/possessing a firearm.

March 7: A welfare check was conducted at the 23900 block of Green Haven Lane. A 36-year-old male was arrested on probable cause of possessing concentrated cannabis.

March 7: Petty theft was reported at the 800 block of 8th Street. Cash ($90) was reported stolen, as well as an $18 knife.

March 7: An arrest was made at 1000 block of Main Street. A 23-year-old male was arrested on probable cause of using a controlled substance and possessing unlawful paraphernalia.

March 7: Stolen vehicle was reported at 100 block of 14th Street. A gold, four-door sedan worth $2,000 was reported stolen.

March 7: Spousal abuse was reported at the 600 block of Steffy Road.

March 8: Petty theft was reported at the 23300 block of Barona Mesa Road. A cell phone, ring and money, totaling almost $500.

March 8: Four arrests were made at the 1500 block of Hanson Lane. Three minors were arrested at Ramona High School on probable cause of:

-giving/transferring/offering marijuana 28.5 grams or under

-possessing marijuana on school grounds

-possessing/purchasing smoking paraphernalia

March 8: A stolen vehicle was reported at the 400 block of South 14th Street. A tan, four-door sedan worth $2,000 was reportedly stolen.

March 9: Petty theft was reported at the 1800 block of Main Street. K-Mart reported a camera, two electronic notebooks and an electronic component, totaling almost $700, stolen.

March 10: An arrest was made at the intersection of Pala and Vermont Streets. A 50-year-old male was arrested on probable cause a felony bench warrant.

March 10: An arrest was made at the on Main Street. An 18-year-old male was arrested on probable cause of using a controlled substance.

March 11: Extortion was reported at the 600 block of Main Street. $300,000 was reportedly stolen.

March 11: Residential burglary was reported at the 3000 block of Ketuull Uunyaa Way. A computer, two TVs, a watch and miscellaneous jewelry, all worth a total of $11,300 were reported stolen.
