Citizen's Advisory Group Meets Tonight at Ramona Library

Have concerns you'd like to voice to the Sheriff's Department? Give them tonight at 6:30.

The second public meeting for the Citizens Advisory Group is tonight at 6:30 p.m. in the Ramona Library.

The group was selected by Lt. James Bovet and the public is welcome to come voice concerns over neighborhood issues, Crime Specialist Barbara Wallace said.

The meeting tonight will be held in one of the study rooms at the library, which sits at 1275 Main Street.

Wallace said the public is welcome to attend.

Acccording to the Ramona Sentinel, the mission of the Citizens Advisory Group is to "conduct meaningful and constructive dialogue between the Sheriff’s Department and a diverse group of citizens and youth in the community on law enforcement concerns, issues, and priorities, and to ensure that the expressed concerns of the citizens are address in a collaborative and effective manner."
