At least one person was killed in a crash between a vehicle and at least one bicyclist in Ramona early today, authorities said.

The fatality at Warnock Drive and San Vicente Road was reported at 6:27 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.

It was not immediately clear whether it was the driver or the cyclist who died, CHP Officer Tommy Doerr said, adding it appeared to be the driver. There may also have been more than one cyclist involved, he said.

Terrible article!

I will never understand why people complain about the quality of an article when someone has died. The person who died in this accident is likely someone who resided in Ramona. This person could possibly be someone you know. It is also possible the this person's family reads Ramona Patch and will read the comments posted above. Seriously, what is more important? The fact that someone's friend, husband, brother, or father just died or that this article was 'poorly written'. If your biggest worry is that you are upset by the 'quality' of an article than you really need to rethink your value system.
