13 Arrested in Ramona Warant Sweep
The sheriff's department hits the street looking for those with outstanding warrants.
The San Diego County Sheriff’s Department conducted a warrant sweep Saturday in Ramona, resulting in the arrests of 12 adults and one juvenile, according to the department.
Fourteen warrants were cleared during the operation, which started at 6 a.m. and ended at noon. The sheriff’s department said the focus of the sweep was apprehending suspects with outstanding felony and misdemeanor warrants.
In a released statement, the sheriff’s department said it has increased its efforts to apprehend wanted people. They encourage people with outstanding warrants to turn themselves in Monday through Friday at a sheriff’s court facility.
