Moroccan-Made Decor Makes For a Unique Antique

Ramona's Swash Blossom Trading Co. has plenty of worldly textiles to choose from.

Antiques aren't always trinkets and old treasures—they're decorative and useful, too!

Take these throw pillows, for example. While calling them antiques may seem unusual, their worn fabric and faded color suggest they've seen a few decades.

Shop owner Vicky Townsend told Patch the pillows come from Morocco, are hand-made and are embroidered with mirrors.

The exotic fabric is just a glimpse of the many worldy textiles the shop carries. These would be a fun addition to a loveseat or rocking chair. What would you use them for?

  • What? Moroccan-made decorative pillows.
  • Where? Squash Blossom Trading Company at 746 Main St.
  • How much? $29 each.

Don't forget to check out our past antique weekly finds, like these worldly bookends, cute ceramic cowboy boots and beautiful birch birdcage!
