Christine Joyce Evans, of Ramona, passed away unexpectedly Dec. 29. She was 61.
Born in Astoria, OR, Evans referred to herself as a “Navy brat” as her father was in the Navy and they moved frequently. She spent three years of her childhood in Japan and eventually settled in Southern California where she attended Lakewood High School in Lakewood California, graduating in 1969.
Evans married her husband Dan in 1970, with whom she moved to Ramona after their many trips to the desert. She worked for more than 20 years as a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant.
Daniel James Nelson, 24, Ramona, passed away Dec. 22.
Nelson spent his entire life in Ramona with his grandparents, graduating from Ramona High School in 2006 and even starting his own successful business, Dan’s Pool Service.
Joyce Bodenhamer, 80, passed away.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, Jan. 11, at 11 a.m. at Bonham Bros. & Stewart Mortuary Chapel.
