Craig Timothy Burke, 64, passed away Feb. 4 after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Burke was a California State Park Ranger who loved the outdoors—making Ramona a perfect choice for him to call "home" after retirement.
He worked as a substitute teacher for the Ramona Unified School District a was a world traveler—fulfilling his dream of visiting all seven continents and touring about 60 different countries.
Craig requested that there be no services, but if you’d like to go on a hike, sing a song, or think up a new pun, he would surely approve.
Joyce E. Long of Ramona passed away on Feb. 9. She was 76 years old.
People who knew Long remember her as "kind," "loving" and "wonderful. Services for Long were held Feb. 15 at Mountain View Community Church for the woman who will be "sorely missed."
