April Carroll Johnson of Ramona Dies at 51

April Carroll Johnson, of Ramona, died Dec. 24 after fighting appendiceal cancer, according to an obituary in the Imperial Valley Press. She was 51.

Born in Oxnard, CA, she graduated from El Centro High School in 1982.

She worked as a Certified Senior Escrow Officer at Legends Escrow services in Mission Valley, and was known as a knowledgeable mentor in the escrow industry.

April enjoyed the beach, especially traveling to Hawaii, and scuba diving.

Special thanks were extended to April's doctor, Dr. Arsham of Ramona, Dr. Fanta and Moore's Cancer Center at UCSD, and the Elizabeth Hospice Center of San Diego County.

April is survived by her husband, children, step-children, grandchildren and other family.
