Ramona Women's Walking Group Forms

Meet other Patch readers on Saturday mornings for local hikes.

It's Saturday morning, and it's time for ... you! It's time to get some life balance, put on your walking shoes and get out to release the work's stress, meet other women, and get some sun ... and fun.

Patch is launching a Ramona women's walking group. You don't have to be a Patch reader and there are no membership requirements or dues. Just come as you are, when you can.

Each Saturday, we'll meet at 8 a.m. at a different location in Ramona to go for a walk, get in shape and then get on with our day. Some of our Facebook readers have expressed an interest in getting to know each other. This is a great way to do it! Watch Patch for announcements about upcoming walks.

No need to RSVP. Just come. You can meander and chat while sipping your coffee or stride for a power burn. You can leave at any point along the trail as you need to, so come for a short time or the whole walk, which may take an hour or so.

This Saturday, we're meeting at on Deviney Lane, off San Vicente Road. This spot has plenty of parking and is conveniently located between Ramona and San Diego Country Estates. We'll take Rattlesnake Trail, which is mostly level and easy to walk. Both trails are clearly marked. A map is attached to this article.
