Appaloosa Mare for 1/2 lease

I have a 14.3/15h appaloosa mare for half lease at our house.  Cleo has lots of experience and goes English, western, trails, pony club.  She was shown by her previous owner at small hunter shows and combined tests.  Ideal for advanced beginner and above, great out on trails alone or in company.  Our house backs up to the IEC, and you can ride out to all the trails.

Barely used Courbette Axxis Saddle

Fantastic shape; has only been ridden in a few times. 17" seat, 4 1/2" gullet. Fits my low-withered Arab really well! Marketed as a "medium" tree, but has the Emotion Spring Tree. Newmarket color, comes with matching Courbette leathers. Has been meticulously cleaned and oiled after every use and stored in a saddle case in a garage, not in a hot tack room of a trailer! Really nice saddle, just doesn't fit my leg very well (my thigh is too long)

2 1/2 year old Morgan gelding 

He has been started under saddle, and so far is doing really well.  He was just
recently gelded, so still has some young stallion attitude, but that is
diminishing as the months go by.  Currently he is not registered, though it is my goal that he be registered before he is sold.

I own his grandmother, and soon will also own his mother.  He is going
to grow to be about 15.1 hands.  Currently he stands butt-taller than
withers.  When I stand him side by side with his grandmother, who is
14.3, he stands the same as her at the withers but is about 2  inches
taller at the butt.  He is a super sweet, very typy Morgan bay with a
ton of potential. 

I see him being an awesome endurance horse, with potential to be an incredible family addition.  He has a fantastic trot, one of the smoothest I've ever ridden. He lunges, clips, bathes, ties, trailers, comes when called, stands nicely for the farrier.  The only reason I am selling him is because I am being given two more horses and I can't have six.  I need to down-size to only four.  Currently I
am asking $2500 but that price is negotiable, as I know he has minimal
training.  I want him to go to a good home where he will be loved tons.

Billy Royal Work Saddle

Bought new about 4 yrs ago.  Very comfortable, can ride in it all day long.  In great shape.  Original cost was $1600 retail.  I am asking $750, which is an awesome deal.  Reason I am selling is I purchased a new saddle and I don't need two.

It has heavy duty rings for use with training aids, 16" seat, skirt size 28" x 15 1/2", 28 lbs.

Two horses for sale

1/2 Trakehner/Quarter, papered, 12 years old  She is a bit on the lazy side
at first then warms up nicely.  Good movement for the shows. Trail rides
with ease. Does not need to get out every day and can be alone.  She becomes
more responsive the more she gets out. She is a maid hunter. Lead changes,
jumps anything, has gone up to 4 feet in the jumper ring in her earlier years.
Super safe. Great kid's horse. 15.2 ish. The owner wants $5000 or feed lease.

Another horse for $2,000, a grey gelding running quarter (TB/Quarter). He does
need to get out regularly, a few times a week. He also trail rides, and was an eventer in his hay day.  I believe he is 13 years old.  He is super easy to ride and more responsive than the mare.  He is about the same height of 15.2 ish but a
lighter frame.  He does need some pads on his front feet to keep him sound.

Both horses have been well taken care of, with regular worming, shots and
shoeing.

"Fancy This," a 15-year-old mare
Fancy This is 16 hands.  She is being used as a school horse and I am down sizing.  She is a great intermediate horse. She can take an advanced beginner as well.  She is AWESOME on trail.  Dogs don't seem to bother her.  She is  a great husband horse and follows really well. Ponies really well. She is great alone or in a group and anywhere in a group. She is sound barefoot and has a good foot on her.  I only have her on four flex due to her age.  I have not seen this horse go
sore without a reason.  She can show dressage or as a hunter easily.  She
has lead changes on her.  She is very forgiving on her back.  I don't believe she has had much experience jumping.  I have worked her in lessons with a lot of ground poles and some little jumps.  Mostly 18" or x's  She is very willing to jump.  I have not seen her stop yet. Asking $2500 to good home.

Looking for a pony

We lost our D-Cob remarkable mare Mairlod FFavor, the all-around pony that could be trusted with anyone on her back. Our 3½ year-old granddaughter can temporarily ride FFavor’s sister FFair, but she’s not as steady as FFavor was, so we need a large pony over 13.2 hands but no bigger than 14.2, so grandma can keep the pony tuned up and fit for the granddaughter’s visits.

We really don’t need a show pony, we already have two of those. Mare or gelding, but must be at least 8 years old or more. If you have such a lovely animal that you can part with, please contact us. You know that any pony that comes here will be loved and well cared for.
