Ramona Airport Open House

The Ramona Airport's free open house offers visitors a chance to get a close look at all types of aircraft—from fighter planes to air tankers to helicopters.

Smokey Bear will make a special guest appearance.

The day's festivities include a pancake breakfast and live music. Food will also be available for lunch. Parking is free.

Ramona Airport is one of the County’s eight community airports and also serves as the firefighting air attack base of CAL FIRE and the U.S. Forest Service. CAL FIRE started flying firefighting missions out of the airport in 1957, making Ramona the state fire agency’s oldest air attack base.
