Weather Advisory: Strong Winds Expected to Roll Through

Wind speeds of 20-30 mph are in the forecast, with gusts hitting 50 mph.

The skies over Ramona will remain clear through the weekend, but the wind is expected to pick up later Saturday, with moderate to strong northeast gusts lasting into Monday.

The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory in San Diego County that is expected to be in effect from 8 p.m. Saturday until 4 p.m. Sunday. The forecast for inland areas calls for winds from 20 mph to 30 mph, with gusts up to 50 mph late Saturday night into Sunday morning through the foothills.

The northeast winds will continue Sunday, with 15-20 mph speeds forecast, and gusts up to 40 mph continuing into Monday.

Saturday afternoon: Sunny, with a high near 69. West wind around 10 mph.

Saturday night: Mostly clear, with a low around 43. Breezy, with an east wind 5 to 10 mph increasing to between 20 and 25 mph. Winds could gust as high as 50 mph.

Sunday: Sunny, with a high near 71. Breezy, with an east wind between 20 and 25 mph, with gusts as high as 45 mph.

Sunday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 43. Windy, with an east wind 15 to 20 mph increasing to between 25 and 30 mph. Winds could gust as high as 45 mph.

Monday: Sunny, with a high near 73. East wind around 20 mph, with gusts as high as 35 mph.

Monday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 39.
