Ramona Gets Hit With .36 Inches of Rain Monday

The showers should dwindle out over the afternoon Tuesday, the NWS predicted.

A low-pressure atmospheric system pulled rain clouds over the San Diego area from subtropic locales to the south today, bringing on- and-off showers to the region from morning into the evening hours.

The blustery spring storm was expected to continue dousing the county and generating strong desert and mountain winds into Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service.

Over a 24-hour period ending at 5:30 p.m., the dark clouds dropped:

The showers should dwindle out over the afternoon Tuesday, making way for partly cloudy but dry conditions through the rest of the workweek and into the weekend, the NWS predicted.
