Ramona Ambulatory Care Center's Open House Will Offer Free Screenings

Free tours will also be offered at the event, which takes place April 13 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m.

Ramona's new Ambulatory Care Center is hosting an open house this weekend, giving residents the opportunity to tour the new facility and get free health screenings.

The new health center, which opened on March 18, now offers urgent care services as of April 1. Arch Health Partners, Palomar Health’s physician partner who already had an office in Ramona, have moved in and are the exclusive tenant of the new building, which sits behind Starbucks and near the Ramona Library at 211 13th Street.

According to Leonel Sanchez, media relations manager for Palomar Health, Supervisor Dianne Jacob is speaking and will read a proclamation. Palomar’s Board Chairman Ted Kleiter and former Palomar Board member, Dr. Marcelo Rivera, a Ramona physician, will also be speaking.

"We’ll have a steel drum band, face painting, balloon animals and clowns," Sanchez said.

The open house is on Saturday, April 13 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Physician office hours for the center are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.

The Urgent Care Center hours will be 3 to 7 p.m., Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday.

The center offers radiology services, primary care services, labs and more.
