Free Christmas Tree Recycling Available

Curbside pickup is available, and drop-off locations will accept trees of any size.

A Christmas tree is a favorite symbol of the holiday, often adorned with prized ornaments from the past along with new additions as the years roll by.

While many people choose to leave the tree up for a few days after the 25th, even the most die-hard Christmas fan will eventually have to undecorate it and get it out of the house before it turns into a fire hazard.

Single-family residences in Ramona can set their trees curbside during their scheduled trash-collection day, and crews will remove it for free through Jan. 16. Trees need to be stripped of all lights and ornaments and cut down to pieces no longer than 4 feet in length.

  • The Village Shopping Center

Trees at the drop-off locations need to be free of any lights and decorations, but the don’t have to be cut off. All trees will be recycled, rather that clogging up a landfill.
