Chappie Hunter, a 19 year San Diego Police veteran who lost a leg and still works out intensely, will speak at the East County Live Well Expo on October 18.

Chappie Hunter is a 19 year San Diego Police veteran. In June, he was hit by a car while riding his motorcycle in Alpine. He lost his leg due to the accident.

After being released from the hospital, he didn't let this accident stop him. He has been doing Crossfit workouts for some time, and just weeks after the accident, he was back doing the same, intense workouts he was doing before. These workouts are tough enough with the use of the entire body, but he does them with one leg.

Chappie is living proof of what determination and a positive mental attitude can do. He is truly an inspiration!

He will speak at the East County Live Well Expo on October 18. Hope to see you there!
