Montessori Children's House Summer Camp Enrolling Now!

This summer we will step back in time and experience the life of Kings, Queens, honorable Knights, Pheasants, Mythical Creatures and many others who lived in the Middle Ages. Not only will the children learn about, but they will experience what daily life was like; jobs, community, clothing, celebrations, food, religion and activities of the time. We will learn about the epic battles for power and discover how Medieval Life was dictated by the wealth and power of the Feudal System. We will build castles, learn jousting (with foam!), fight fire-breathing dragons, and much more. This period is full of wonderful stories, myths and legends. We will explore these stories and the children will make their own Mythical Creature keepsake. Our journey through the Medieval Life will conclude in a MCH Summer Tradition - our theater production!

All summer the children will be writing a play, designing costumes and props, rehearsing their part and presenting this wonderful production to all the parents! So plan to join us on the last day of Summer Camp, Friday, August 8 for our Knights of the Roundtable production!
