The 'Town Hall Rocks' Saturday Night; Get Ready to Twist

The annual talent show, fundraiser and 9-11 tribute will be at Ramona Outdoor Community Center.

Top local talent will take the stage again Saturday night in the annual Ramona's Got Talent fundraiser for the historical town hall renovation.

This year, there's a rock 'n' roll theme, so Ramonans are encouraged to dig out their bell bottoms and head down to the Ramona Outdoor Community Center.

Also known as the Patriot's Day 9-11 Tribute, the event will be a chance to come together both to honor the fallen of Sept. 11, 2001 as well as have some fun. Sen. Joel Anderson will officiate part of the tribute and the Town Hall Brass Band will perform.

This is a chance to see the Ramona Town Hall board of trustees dressed as the Beatles, complete with wigs and '60s threads.

"I told some of the guys to go home and have their wives brush out those wigs," trustee Sandee Salvatore told Patch about handing out the famous British band's lookalike hair. "Some of them looked like they had a puppy sitting on their heads."
