Starbucks Due To Open This Fall at Bank of So Cal

The area's first drive-through Starbucks will complete the bank's face-lift.

By autumn this year, motorists traveling through Ramona will be able to stop for an iced mocha or some other drink at the area's first drive-through Starbucks. It's due to open at at 1315 Main Street. Work has begun on a complete face-lift of the bank, which includes dividing up the space to accommodate the coffee chain. Renovation is due to be completed this summer.

Indoor seating will be available for customers, along with an outdoor patio, as shown in the attached plan supplied by Tony DiVita, director of sales and marketing for the bank. The space for Starbucks is about 1,800 square feet, he told Patch. There's no word yet on exactly how many people Starbucks may hire for the location.

Ramona architect Carole Wylie has been involved in the project, DiVita said. Heiman Construction of Solana Beach is doing the remodel.
