Patch: Why did you decide to start this business in Ramona?

Agha: I love Ramona. I have lived here for 11 years, my horses are happy here and the people are great. I also wanted to provide Ramona with a quality blinds store that is closer to home.

Patch: What distinguishes your business from others in the same industry?

Agha: We can fix most mistakes that might happen during a job, which can be often since getting a window treatment is very specific, down to the last 1/8 of an measurement.

We also have a workshop where we can do repairs and custom-made shades, where most stores don't.

Patch: Any current challenges you face as a business owner?

Agha: Getting people on the west end of Ramona to notice our business despite our advertising.

Patch: What's the best business advice you've ever been given?

Agha: You need accurate measurements and cheap does not last.

Patch: What's your biggest seller, most popular or most unusual item in the store?

Agha: Our biggest seller are cellular shades most likely because they come in a vast variety of colors, are great for blocking out the sun and help with the electric bill.

Our most unusual item in the store ,which most people are surprised to see, is our vertiglide, which is a cellular shade made vertically to slide on a valance back and fourth like a sliding door.
