Rainbow Over Ramona
A thunderstorm brings rain, lightning and at least one rainbow to San Diego County.
This rainbow was seen at about 7 p.m. Tuesday in San Diego Country Estates.
Brief heavy rain, hail, gusty winds and flash flooding are forecast for San Diego county through the weekend as thunderstorms move through the region, according to the National Weather Service.
Small fires due to a lightning strike were reported in the Boulevard area of East County early Tuesday evening, a CalFire spokesman said. Heavy rains helped put them out.
