Get a guided tour of the Barona Museum from 10-11 a.m. followed by a native artist showcase from 11 a.m.-2 p.m.
Artist Alma Dora Cuero, a Kumeyaay from Junta de Neji in Baja California, will be showing off her handmade art, including her unique jewelry she learned to make from her mother. Cuero was part of a group who received the 2010 National Award for Science and Art in Mexico.
Visitors will receive 10 percent off any of Cuero's art that you'd like to purchase during the showcase.
