So many animals need homes. Each week, we'll feature one from the Escondido Humane Society.
Montgomery is a 4-year-old male Labrador retriever mix, ID #50601. Like all Labs, Montgomery is full of energy and prefers to be on the go rather than sitting still and watching the world go by.
He really likes to be with his people, which is why he isn't really enjoying shelter life. Shelter staff and volunteers are hoping to get him out of the kennels and into a new home very soon.
Montgomery will do best as the only dog and because of his energy level would do best in a home with children 10 and older.

Montgomery is available for adoption from the Escondido Humane Society, 3450 E. Valley Pkwy. His $110 adoption fee includes neuter, microchip, up-to-date vaccinations and vet exam. For more information, call 760-888-2247 or log on to escondidohumanesociety.org. The Escondido Humane Society Adoption Center is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. seven days a week.
