Snow in Julian, Mt. Laguna

Roads can be slippery today. A winter-weather advisory is in effect for mountain communities.

Snow fell to 3,500 feet in some parts of east and northern San Diego county Monday, including Julian.

Mt. Laguna, San Diego county's highest peak at 6,000 feet, received an estimated 12 inches of snow, according to the fire department there.

A winter-weather advisory will remain in effect through Monday evening, according to the National Weather Service.
