Ramona Shuttle Offers Special Service for Weekend Winos
Looking to get a taste of Ramona this weekend? Transit Van Shuttle of Ramona is offering up the Ramona Valley Wine Experience, where residents and visitors can scoot around town and taste the various local wines.
According to the company's secretary, Beverly, guests can use the shuttle during either June 22 or June 23 (but who's really judging if you go both days?) to hop from winery to winery and everything in between.
The shuttle will be running from 10 a.m. to sunset both days and costs $25 for all-day use. The cost does not include wine tastings or food costs. Beverly said each winery has their own pricing for tastings.
The following wineries and food establishments in Ramona will be designated for pick-up and drop-off locations, according to Beverly:
- Grant James Vineyard
- Milagro Farm Vineyard and Winery
- Ramona Ranch Winery
- Pyramid Vineyard
- Pamo Valley Winery
- Lenora Winery
- Ramona Cafe
- The Oaks Grille (at San Vicente Resort)
"This is the East end winery tour," she said. "We'll do a West end one, next."
Interested shuttlers can pay for a $25 wristband online or purchase (and pick them up) at Transit Van Shuttle, located at 603 Main Street. Valet parking will be offered to visitors.
Will you take the Ramona Valley Wine Experience this weekend? Which winery are you looking forward to "sipping" back and relaxing at? Tell us in the comments!
