Ramona Resident Runs in the Mud For Fun

A Patch reader sent in this photo of Ramona resident Desiree Ashmun during the Gladiator Rock'N Run on the Barona Reservation this past weekend.

Ramona resident Heather Pedersen sent in this shot of her sister, Desiree Ashmun, celebrating in this past weekend's Gladiator Rock'N Run.

Ashmun, also a Ramona resident, participated in the run on Wildcat Canyon Road on the Barona Reservation.

According to the Gladiator Rock'N Run website, the run is a challenging race with "tons of mud, hills, elevation changes and a 100-foot water slide."

"It was right in our backyard this weekend and several people from Ramona were in it," Pedersen said.
