LETTER: October is Vaccine Injury Awareness Month

Bedford resident, NH Director of Advocacy for the National Vaccine Information Center, looks to raise awareness to vaccine risks.

Dear Editor:

Vaccines carry with them risk of sickness, injury and death. To bring attention to that fact and the growing crisis of the injured, October is designated Vaccine Injury Awareness Month.

The National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act of 1986 established that there shall be a national reporting system and database of vaccine injuries and deaths.  This system is the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS).  This reporting system is critical to monitoring the effects of mass vaccination, the results of which are largely unknown until after the fact when it is too late to do much for those already injected but not too late to change course on any vaccines or programs deemed to be more unsafe than beneficial.  Unfortunately this system is a voluntary system. Experts estimate that only about 10% of actual injuries or deaths are even reported.  This under-reporting gives a false perception of vaccine safety.  This needs to change.  In the meantime, should you have any adverse reaction to a vaccine (fever, soreness, flu-like symptoms, seizures, paralysis, death) you should ask your doctor to file a VAERS report and ask for a copy for your records.  If your doctor refuses to file a VAERS report, you may file one of your own at  http://vaers.hhs.gov/esub/index

Vaccine manufacturers and those who administer them are protected from liability for injury or death that results from vaccination.  This is a federal law that needs changing.  No drug manufacturer should be allowed to market a drug, especially those considered mandatory, and not also be required to maintain liability for the safety and efficacy of their product.  If your child is injured, disabled or killed by a vaccine you may file a claim with the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program.  This is a national claim system that has pre-determined which injuries for specific vaccines are to be compensated.  The money awarded through this program comes from you.  With every vaccine there is a federal tax that is paid by you through your insurance premiums, through your taxes and through direct purchase of vaccines.  The manufacturer does not at any time pay for any injuries caused by their vaccines.

Because vaccine injuries, disabilities and deaths are very real, it is critically important that you get all the facts well before you consider vaccination.  Ask questions.  Get the facts.  It’s your body.  It’s your health.  For more information please visit www.nvic.org.

"There is not one diagnostic test to determine a vaccine injury, not one!" That is such a good point!

perfect timing. Oct 15th is the date I received the flu shot that almost killed me. I didnt want to get sick as my dad was having surgery. Bad plan, I was in the hospital 24 days, much longer than he was for his knee replacement.

There is such descrepency is what is considered a vaccine injury, and there is not one single , solitary diagnostic test to determine it. No wonder why it denied. most people in society just assume that there is some sort of diagnostic test that will deermine if the vaccine actually caused the injury.....No, that is not true. Diagnostic tests will tell if conditions exist, but do not show the cause of those conditions. The cause is either presumed, or dismissed. Most doctor's are warned not to jeopardize the pubic health/vaccine plan, so they dont. More and more vaccines on the schedule are increasing the odds that more and more people will have adverse events happening to their own children. The vaccine safety awareness movement is growing. Not out of fear, but because of experience, and the sheer neglect of the medical community to do any thing real about it.

That, along with the fact doctors feel "they can do no wrong." So, it's unthinkable, on their part, to inflict harm with vaccines. They are so blind.
