Free Dinner at Light of the Lamb

The Christian nonprofit organization provides food to all who need it with boxes of groceries given out twice a week and a hot meal on Thursday nights.

Groceries are provided from 10:30 a.m. to noon on Tuesdays and Fridays, and at 6 p.m. on Thursdays dinner is served at Light of the Lamb Church, 318 7th St., during the winter months. During warm weather, dinner is served at Collier Park, 626 E. St.

The third Tuesday of the month volunteers are in charge of distributing 15 tons of food from the San Diego Food Bank from 1:30 to 3:45 p.m. at Collier Park.
