Farmers Insurance Fire Expo

The Burn Institutes's 21st Annual Farmers Insurance Fire Expo - Southern California's largest firefighting event - is designed to increase awareness of mondern emergency services, including:

"live" firefighting demo's (throughout the day), such as... firefighters rappeling from the arena rafters and putting out a car fire. Burn Run Parade of more that 100 fire trucks and apparatus (1:00pm).  A fire and burn prevention education pavilion, interactive activities for the kids, live music and much more 

The dauy also will include the exciting Firefighter Demolition Derby (5:00 pm).  San Diego County firefighters will display their creatively customized clunckers and "smash for cash" for the Burn Institute.

Proceeds for this event fund Burn Institute for and burn prevention programs and services, including Camp Beyond The Scars for burn-injured children (5-17). http://www.burninstitute.org/bss/programs/camp.html
