The Rescued Pup Boutique Celebrates With Grand Opening Feb. 2

There's a new boutique in town, but this fashion store is for the four-legged variety.

Michelle Robertson-Clark is opening up The Rescued Pup Boutique run by NikaPower, a non-profit Ramona corporation, in the Sears building on Rotanzi Street.

Doors for The Rescued Pup Boutique will open Friday, Feb. 1 with a grand opening celebration on Feb. 2 from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.

Rescued Pup Boutique's grand opening is going to have:

  • free dog training sessions
  • pet portraits
  • food and drink
  • silent auction items
  • other items being confirmed on a daily basis

The boutique is a rescue-only pet store—a far cry from the puppy mill stores you see in malls. Rescue dogs of all ages will be available for adoption at The Rescued Pup Boutique, as well as plenty of accessories for the pampered pooch, from food to clothes to bedding.

Robertson-Clark said the company specializes in small dog rescues, but that larger dogs will be available for adoption at different times.
