Resident Launches Smartphone, Web Service To Boost Ramona Tourism

Ramona resident Kat McClanahan is pleased to announce the launch of her new endeavor, "Nutshell Promotions—Where we plant the seed for big results in small town tourism promotion."

The impact of the wine industry has had an incredible impact on the future of Ramona's tourism. Ramona is fast becoming the "hidden jewel" of San Diego County, if not the entire Southern California!

So what is Nutshell Promotions? In a nutshell, the business model allows individual small business owners whose businesses are or can be heavily impacted by increased tourism to a particular town, village, or geographic area, to collectively use their advertising resources to reach a mass industry market by using the most innovative and cutting edge technologies to bring more tourists to our tasting rooms, restaurants, shopping, etc.

Nutshell Promotions provides a full-service promotion model where subscribers become part of an interactive media, utilizing the number one growing resource that is literally in the palm of the hands of nearly one billion people just in the United States alone: their smartphone.

The good news is that with Nutshell Promotions, they do the work for you. They have partnered with a company that provides a technology that is brand new to the market, and even though it may look familiar, it has a capacity far beyond what has previously been done.

An amazing team of professionals has been assembled to help Nutshell Promotions plant the acorn and get it to grow into a mighty oak that it will become!

Having been a Ramona resident for nearly 10 years, and having grown up in a small town in the Northern Sierra Mountains, whose primary economy was built on tourism, McClanahan understands the needs and challenges faced in building tourism while maintaining the character of the community. Her goals are to see each and every business in Ramona not just to succeed, but thrive!

Nutshell Promotions will present the first ever comprehensive directory of every business that will benefit from increased tourism. The web-based, full service resource will be primarily accessed via the individual visitor’s smartphone, allowing instant, mobile access to wineries, eateries, lodging, events, outdoor adventures, shopping and entertainment.

If your business could benefit from increased tourism, contact Kat McClanahan at 619-249-2741 or email kat@lovinglifewellness.com.
