1. Public Meeting Thursday for SR-67 Safety Median Barrier Project- 4-7 p.m. Thursday at Olive Peirce Middle School, 1521 Hanson Lane.
The meeting is the first stage in community discussions regarding possible improvement alternatives including various median barriers for the stretch of SR-67 between Willow Road and Shady Oaks Drive. Caltrans staff will be on hand to provide info and answer questions about the project.
2. In Memory of Anita Zick- "the gentle, spirited, warm and fun-loving person she was... she was and still is loved by many and her circles were wide. She will be terribly missed." The public is invited to a celebration of Anita’s life at Ramona Airport, Chuck Hall Aviation, Gate 2 Hangar F3, 2898 Montecito Road, on Friday, Aug. 23 at 7 p.m.
